CDONT should work... I've never used it.
I'm sure the code would look something like this:
Set objMail = CreateObject("CDONTS.Newmail")
objMail.Send("you@yourhome.com", "me@athome.com", "My Subject", "My message body")
Set objMail = Nothing
I'd add this code after your close your db recordset insert.
